The vintage shoe form fiber sculpture was created by covering the center padded section with vintage Japanese silk fukuro obi, in a rich copper and gold woven brocade. The fabric was hand smocked using the Canadian Arrow pattern, then stitched over the form with hand dyed embroidery floss. A fuschia pink yarn and plume, along with a handmade Raku ginko leaf button, finish off this very colorful and special sculpture.
